In my defence can I just say that the booze was free.
I would have disgraced my Country had I not ended up absolutely smashed.
The wine tour was mgic...a gift from Maragret and Mike Beckwith and as we cruised down the river visiting various wineries I did think that Margaret and Mike would have loved the day (especially the selection of fine ports...lets just hope the gout stays away).
Melbourne next and I think I'll give my body few needed days off the grog. Speak soon

I'm sure Mike will be proud that you made the most of their present.
Enjoy the rest of Perth and Melbourne when you get there - I can assure you you're not going to stay off the grog - I'm not sure how you'll react to the 'pots' of beer. You may have to buy 2 at a time.
