So Long Sydney

Well guys thats our 3 fabulous days in Sydney at an end.

We arrived on Monay lunchtime and spent the day and night chilling out and familiarising ourselves with some of Darling Harbours nitespots. Tuesday we did the open bus tour round all the tourist spots (Opera House, Harbour Bridge, the Rocks etc) unfortunately Aoif would not let me jump out at Kings Cross..ooh well. Also paid a visit to David Campese's sports shop but sadly the great man was not there to serve us. I was hoping to compare world cup winning stories.

Tuesday night saw us emabark on a Sydney Harbour Dinner Cruise... the 3 course meal, open bar and dancing girls all added to the experience but the main event was the fantastic views of the city skyline as dusk and then nightfall set in and while this was a bit tamer than the Perth Wine cruiser it was doubtless a top night.

Wednesday.... after a long lie we made our way to Bondi Beach..generally the weather here has been pretty poor but we lucked out big time on Wednesday as it was scorchio all day. Bondi itself was cracking and the waves crashing against the beach were an awesome sight to behold...

I also have to share with you one of the best chat up lines I have ever heard...sunbathing just beside us were two young, attractive swedish girls, (before you start to point fingers can I just say that Aoifa chose the spot) both of whom were sunbathing topless. This obviously drew the attention of two young Aussie scamps who strolled over and engaged them in some dreadful bajnter...seeing that their patter was getting them nowhere they moved in for the kill.

"Jees you sheilas are burning up...I've got some tanning oil in my bag, I'd be Happy to rub it on for you."

On having this offer politely declined the boy turned round and said

"Don't worry..I won't charge you" You gotta luv a trier.

Just had enough time on Thyursday for a tour of Sydney Aquarium before heading back to the airport...next stop NZ, speak soon.
