Hello from fabulously sunny queenstown, the sun has finally arrived and we are enjoying every minute of this fabulous place. We arrived here last fri and have been busy bees getting all our list stuff done, the trip to Milford Sound was absolutly amazing..again the scenery was out of this world, almost becoming immune to its fabulousness!! We went up the gondola aswell which I think I may have damaged eardrums with my screeching like a banshee with the fear..think I kept it up for pretty much all of the journey up, lucky for Doug!! Think he's just getting the feeling back into his hand from my squeezing it...
Again the views up there were amazing, highlight for me though was overtaking Doug not once, but three times out of the five Luge rides we did, looooser!!!!!
And today was the shotover jet, absolutely terrifying high speed jet boat racing down a very tight canyon, the nice driver boy almost chopped my head of the rocks on numerous occasions and tipped me out with the fast 360 degree turns, again I found a new pitch to my screaming which I think the whole boat enjoyed this time!!
Mark and Majella arrived last night and its just fab to have them here, we've got our shrimps ready for the barbie tomorrow and no doubt will enjoy a sociable beverage or two over the day consoling ourselves with the sunshine instead of the usual rain and snow..
